One Saturday I was feeling randomly spontaneous and decided that I wanted to travel up to London to see what different places I could find and photograph. It's my last summer before a hopeful new journey at University so I want to make the most of it. Saturday night I did a little research and found numerous events that were on
(Chinatown Family Day in China Town, The Festival of Love at Southbank, Camden Beach at The Roundhouse, Real Food Market at Southbank, Magnum ice cream anniversary at Summer Streets on Regent Street to name a few). I've done the majority of the typical touristsy things like the London Eye, Big Ben, Oxford Street, Camden town etc so I wanted to explore further and as the weather was so lovely it made for a great (all be it sweaty) day. I had lots of different things planned to go and see, and I took my brother and Dad too. However being in London and travelling around on the tube gets surprisingly sooooo tiring so we didn't manage it all within one day. I definitely want to go back and visit Phoenix Gardens, The London Design Festival and the Greenwich Foot Tunnel sometime though!
Here are some pictures I took from the day..

Like father like son? They have the same 'walk' so I told them they need to take a leaf from Joey Tribbiani's book an get a new walk. "You think I need a new walk? Well y'know, I've been walking the same way since high school. Y'know how some guys they walk into a room and everybody takes notice. I think I need a 'take notice' walk." |
