foooooodies!

Long time no blog! If you follow me on Instagram or have me on Facebook you've probably been inundated with these pictures before. Sorry. By no means at all am I uploading these to make you food junkie lovers feel guilty, this is just what I personally like and hopefully maybe it inspires others for a bit of variety in their meals or just a change up if you're bored of the same food! Some of you might just vom at the sight of the colour green on a plate, so I get that this isn't to everybody's taste.. if you'll pardon the pun.

I'm a bit of a (ok understatement).. a biggish health freak - but most people always assume being healthy means eating a bunch of carrots, a grape, a 10L tank of water and a bag of air. Wrong.

I get a lot of people wanting to know what meals I have and the recipe ideas, so here you go :) Meal preps are pretty vital if you want to be able to eat healthily on the go. Maybe I'm just weird and enjoy cooking- some of you, especially those my age, probably don't! Something as simple as a prepped lunch gets me through the long hours at school or wearing hours at work when I know I've got a (somewhat embarrassing..) little plastic lunchbox with me filled with tastiness. Along with a side of 10 cups of tea of course.

Row 1 - Breakfasts L-R:
/ Poached egg and salmon slice on toasted wholemeal bread with grilled mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach /
/ Low fat greek style yoghurt topped with mango, pomegranate, and Mornflake cranberry muesli /
/ Jordan's rolled oats porridge made with water and skim milk, half a chopped apple, ground cinnamon and topped with low fat greek style yoghurt, chia seeds and sunflower seeds /

Row 2 - Lunches L-R:
/ Two soft boiled eggs, half slice wholemeal bread cut into soldiers with butter, and grilled asparagus tips wrapped in wafer thin ham /
/ Wagamama's mandarin and sesame chicken salad /
/ Brown rice in yoghurt and paprika, red pepper, sweetcorn, spring onion, cucumber, spinach and turkey /

Row 3 - Dinners L-R:
/ Giraffe Penang-Bang Chicken Salad (best thing ever)
/ Grilled chicken breast, roasted veg and tomato and basil puy lentils /
/ Grilled courgettes and rocket salad topped with almond flakes, spring onion, feta cheese and sundried tomatoes /

Don't get me wrong I definitely don't think I'm a foodie expert (I have zilch qualified knowledge on health etc I've just researched and learnt the obvious stuff myself).
So if you keel over after one of my meal ideas - blame the supermarket you bought the ingredients from ok..

More foodies likely to be continued on my Instagram if you want to follow @chloelouisehammond

Just uploading this extra image because it looks pretty. Anybody else suddenly just get hungry??
