collar tips and burgundy lips

I can't remember where, probably a magazine or online article somewhere, but I read about dressing collars with earrings. As you do. These earrings are from a brand in New Look but they unfortunately look stupidly big on my ears so.. here's my lil DIY job on my plain white Topshop shirt! Lipstick is Rimmel London Kate Moss Matte in "Wine 107".

I have this tiny little weird spot below my cupids bow. Also, I know, I need a lip liner.
SHITTING HELL I  NEED TO START USING DE WRINKLE CREAM???? kiddin

Serious selfies aside, hey just casual hair swag. Weirdo

what's the story morning glory? soap and glory reviews

As a lover and collector of Soap & Glory I thought I'd share a little review. Firstly because I got tons of the stuff for my 18th and Christmas (people think I smell), secondly because for one day only I've got the school's photographic softbox, flash gun and reflector at home with me ready to do my final shoot tonight. So I thought I'd have a little play and set up a make shift studio in my bedroom. I'm still such a novice with the studio equipment but I tried my best. And thirdly, this post looks pretty and pretty posts means a pretty blog :)

L-R: "Girligo Body Moisturising Mist" / "The Righteous Body Butter Lotion" / "Flake Away Body Polish"  / "The Righteous Butter" x3! / "Clean On Me Shower Gel" / "Hand Food Hydrating Cream"

I actually posted a lil mention to Soap and Glory back in 2013 on this blog post here. So I'll add this into the review too, which I've since run out of and need to buy more of!
"Breakfast Scrub"

girligo- body moisturising mist

The bottle is probably the cutest thing about this product. It smells great and it's perfect for people who don't like wearing or slathering on too much beauty products. It was also really good when I used it after showering as it sunk into my skin better than other products. However, it was a little too thin for me and I much prefer a thicker, creamy moisturiser.

The
 righteous-body butter lotion
Although this has a really similar name to the 'righteous body butter' it's actually different. I think they're either different products entirely or S&G altered the ingredients since this product was bought back in September. I tend to choose the other moisturiser over this as this has a really pungent, floral smell and I end up smelling of a meadow and not in a good way. Love the pump it comes in though, super easy to use.

flake away -body polish
THIS. STUFF. Uhhhh. So basically, splodge of this, on a scrunchie (those puffy net things, Soap and Glory actually have them. I have two..) and a little goes such a long way. The grains in this scrub combined with the rough scrunchie texture makes for an invigorous exfoliation session. This product is extremely similar to the Breakfast Scrub except the Breakfast Scrub smells a ton better. It smells of cake mixture and makes me so tempted to eat it. But ick no.

The
 righteous-body butter
This is my absolute fave product from the S&G range (as you can see I have 3 tubs of it). It's really thick, creamy and smells so good. The floral scent took me a while to get used to but now I can't get enough. Exceptionally good for just shaved and exfoliated legs! Expect super soft pins after just one use. Defo 5* recommend.

clean on me -shower gel
Yum. I don't have much to say about this really. It smells super lush just like the other products, lathers up considerably well and the bottle itself makes it really easy to use in the shower. The only problem is transporting it in a wash bag, as its a little big. Nonetheless, Soap and Glory sell all their products in a mini range and most of them only cost £2.50! Perfect for if you just want a tester to begin with or need some travel toiletries.

hand food -hydrating hand lotion
Seeing as it's still -100 degrees in Britain and probably will remain so for the foreseeable future, this little product serves well to cure my dry winter hands. Pocket size, pretty and pink. Can't go wrong really

train like a machine - machine fitness review and wishlist

My Machine Fitness wish list! This was fun to edit on my iPad simply because I got to zoom in real close.. to errr edit the lines.. not admire the abs. Course not.

I discovered Machine Fitness one afternoon on an Instagram account stalk and scroll (we all do it), and fell in love with their slogans and dedication to fitness immediately. Their two main slogans read "Train Like A Machine" and "Machine Mode". I'm definitely not the type of person who does hardcore body building lol or anything extreme as such, but I'm a huge gym lover to say the least. It's really hard to write this blog post without sounding like one of those typical girls preaching about how they go to the gym.. urgh.. But one of the real reasons I go is because I simply wouldn't shed an ounce of happiness if I didn't! I'm a firm believer that there really is no better feeling than the post-workout one and for what's happened during the last two years in my life, exercise has been my rock and the happy pill I needed. Cliche as hell. Lol. (Review below!)

My MF stringer matches nicely with these babies!
I ordered this Purple V2 Stringer Vest from Machine fitness and it came within two days. So we reach review point number 1) super fast delivery, fab.
2) It arrived a wee bit big but that was no biggy. Their stringer vests are unisex so the smallest size was too big for me as it's got to also be able to fit guys who have bigger boobs/pecs that me. So I got my Nan to resize it for me. Problem solved. (It does tell you this on their website so I was aware of it prior to purchasing).
3) It cost me £18.99 which is pretty fair considering its a rlllllly cool top. PLUS free delivery which is always a huge bonus, so I was pleased with that oo.
4) It fits fab as its not too tight (for women yay!/for men it fits like a glove so you can continue showing your tensed abs off ok), its lightweight, washes fine and looks better that the grey baggy sweat-stained vest you probably usually wear. So I'd definitely recommend a MF stringer vest to get you going.

I ordered purple to coordinate with my customised Nike iDs (must. stop. talking. about. them.) sorry. I posted a selfie on Instagram of me wearing my stringer vest and Machine Fitness liked, commented and reposted my picture. !!!!!! Which made me feel pretty cool I'm not gonna lie. So I decided to do this blog post/review post to share my appreciation and promote Machine Fitness' motivating gym apparel! Go, buy!

sketch book post. - "Mannequin" book work

Cosy. Today I'm doing some personal blogging on here and doing some Media A Level blogging. Productive day. Here's my OCD tidy freak dresser..

The beginning of my personal rebranding. From 'Evolution and Revolution' rebranded to 'To Infinity And Beyond'. That probably means nothing to you ha :)

Left- last photo from Trafalgar Square shoot. Right - Beginning of Lee Friedlander "Mannequin" recreation shoot (previous post film shots)

Contact sheet analysis. First set of double film strips.. that I misplaced/left/ok LOST somewhere :(

Left- "Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf's" documentary anaysis. This was such a good documentary following the window designs of Bergdorf Goodman's in New York (which fingers crossed I'll get to visit in September eeeee) Right- Friendlander artist link research

Film strips which I managed not to lose - hurrah

Test strips, test prints and final print of 'Berksha' window in London

Test prints and final print. You can see the Christmas lights.. take me back!!

I like this page and print

Then I combined acetate printed photo overlays on top of my film prints. Kinda looks 3D.. dead happy with this

window shopping - "Mannequin"

Scanned film shots from my mannequin/storefront reflections shoot.. this was the second shoot because I lost my film strips the first time round.. only me. So pleased with how these turned out in the end but these took two v long hours to develop, and I still have another two films strips left to develop ouch. School is currently consisting of living in the dark room at the minute. Love it/hate it. I did this shoot at Christmas when the shop windows were crazy insane! Inspo came from Lee Friedlander's "Mannequin" collection, the "Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf's" documentary and also from where my current Unit 3 sketch book has taken me from my "To Infinity And Beyond" theme. This day/these photos reminded me how much I would absolutely LOVE to design or style windows - Selfridge's.. if I'm being particular.. Dream career!

Film test strips

More The Merrier - down a backstreet alley off  of Oxford Street. One of my favourite shots

"sensationail" + review

Today has been spent getting a lot of odds and sods done; I got my photographs printed, my car radio checked out (it's still broken, I've come to the conclusion I can't concentrate when driving if Bey isn't in the background), my new top resized, my eyebrows waxed, a sunbed, two episodes of Breaking Bad down at the same time as doing my gel nails with my new Sensationail kit. Random day right.

I got the Sensationail kit for christmas after Boots' huge price cut from £107.00 to £67.00 to £45.00. Brill bargain. I'm so pleased with it, I definitely didn't think I'd be able to achieve such good at-home nails but if I do it carefully I manage to get them pretty neat (including my right hand, which all girls know is a first world problem usually cause of our somewhat shaky left hand). Bit of generalisation, we're not all right handed I know I know. This time round I used the "taupe tulips" nail colour which in english is basically a really natural nude shade. I definitely recommend any girl who likes doing their nails to get this! The tiny LED lamp is so easily portable, the instructions are extremely clear and the kit comes with a gel cleanser, gel primer, two gel polishes, a transparent base/top coat, 12 lint-free wipes, a double-sided nail buffer, a manicure stick, a removal tool and the LED lamp itself.

This gel polish is so much stronger than regular polish so it lasts a good two weeks before chipping. Unless your like me and end up biting them. Ick. But now my nails look super nice I'm hoping this is the milestone in my life where I might actually have ladylike, long talons?! Or at least something I can call a nail.

***** 5 star recommendation, definitely worth the money :)

Ps. the orange glow in these pictures is an electric heater, because we have no heating at the minute and without it I feel toeless. Brrrrrr

This is the kit that I got, which had the nude colour and then 'sugar plum'- a burgundy shade. There are over 60 colours and I kind of want them all..

Getting really into this series now, currently at Ep 6

This is the next colour I think I'm going to get because I'm obsessed with purple at the minute
Right, now I'm off because I have 56 episodes of Breaking Bad to finish xo
