Trying to get the correct exposure for these two photos was difficult as both resulted in the lens looking vertically up into the white overcast sky. Secondly, I had limited time due being positioned standing in the middle of a road! Both shots also relied on the wind motions and pressing the shutter at the correct moment was pure guesswork. I like the vivid red and gold colours and how in the second shot, the string pieces expand out (almost) to the four rectangular corners.
