tea total

Honestly Chloe, a blog post about tea, really? Probably not all that surprising really. My order from Vitalife came a few weeks back but I needed time to test them before blogging a review! As mentioned a million times before, I'm a huge tea lover. So initially I went on Vitalife's site to get some Matcha green tea, but then I realised how extremely loooong the process is to make it etc etc, by then I'd got distracted by some other teas and got the following..

Am I mostly just doing this post for the pretty pots and pictures? Nope definitely not doing that...
Feel Good Black Tea | Pure Green Tea | Everyday Black Tea with Amalaki (superfruit)
The Feel Good Black Tea is out of stock since publishing this post but check the link on the left in case!

I usually have any type of green tea but this one definitely beats any other I've had before, and I'm not just saying that because I've spent £3 on a box of it from a fancy healthy site! Promise. It's far less bitter and therefore fab for first time green tea drinkers. At the end of the cup there's no sandy grains left like I usually get, it really is what it says on the tin - 'pure'! I'm definitely re-stocking this. Tastebud score? 10/10

Next, the Everyday Black Tea. For me this was disappointing :( I like a strong tea flavour and this one didn't have it. Although you can't taste the Amalaki superfruit, the tea itself is definitely a lot weaker because of it. So, its not for me! Tastebud score, 4/10

And lastly, the Feel Good Black Tea, which definitely lived up to its name! This one actually took me a few cups until I grew to like it, because at first  the coconut flavour felt like I was drinking a hot Malibu mixer! Alcohol aside (I've actually not drunk alcohol since NYE, what up with that?! I need to get OUT. #soberista) I actually began to like it and now I bloody love this tea. The ingredients weirdly enough, are cashew nuts, vanilla, coconut and black tea! The nuts give the tea healthy fats whilst the vanilla gives the tea a creamy relaxing sip. Warning though, if you're not used to herbal teas you probably won't like this much.. so start with simple vanilla teas first which are equally as tasty. Tastebud score, 10/10. Pictured above is my creamy tea with added splash of milk and a few grapes to accompany me during revision today.. snore

Pretty pots, tasty tea and cute teabags. What's not to like. AND Vitalife do a 3 for 2 deal on their website which is pretty handy considering it is a little pricey compared to your usual £1.20 Tesco Red Label..
